There is pleasure sure in being mad, which none but madmen know.
-Dryden-

I am too young to be 50 !
Isn`t “that “supposed to “feel” old?
Its taken me years to look this good!
I am content with my reflection.
Images are usually misconceptions??
Humor me…
Allow me good old Narcissistic perception !!

If I had one wish.
I` would visit my younger days,
And tell the younger me
It all works out Okay.
Being innovative in a copycat world
Eventually pays…

Thank you God, I do feel blessed.
You have done so much for my happiness
As I look around ,I can see
The people with whom I wanted to be.
You stage managed it .. just. for me.

It aint over yet
So much more to do
So many more Memories
To make, cherish, and keep,
No end to my desires
I`ve gathered up a heap!

I wanna romance Clooney.
Serenade Daniel Craig.
Sweep Bret Lee for a six!
Dreams are free, even at Fifty
Find the truth out there with Duchovny
My shortcuts to the big fix!!

Marrying age with grace ,is my plan.
Abandoning my ego.
Accepting my fallacies,
Unfettering my mind of false illusions.
Living loving and laughing for today
Coz tomorrow is another day..

I admit I let go often from a position of advantage.
I accept I am impatient
I have selective hearing,…that apart
I am blind without my glasses
Makes no difference really
Coz I see with my heart :)

I need to chk my temper
Doc says its bad for my blood pressure.
I have looked death in the face so often,
She is a friend , Her lessons I treasure

I wish I could dust off my cynical wit
I wish I could have again the wisdom of a child
Scream for an ice cream, play hide and seek
With child like dignity,
Free yet wild.

There is a lot I would change
If I could live these fifty again
Lol .. but that’s another story my friend
And I guess this tightness in my throat
Of bitter sweet regrets,
Of lessons learned and rules bent
Pale when compared to the sheer pleasure
Of a life well spent.

So let it be told...
I` ve been the master of my fate
I am the captain of my soul.

Don`t Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you`re trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don`t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don`t give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you`re hardest hit--
It`s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Here comes the super predictions of mine hitting bulls-eye in the Lok Sabha Plls, not the Stock Markets. Apart from lifaylon, I did not see any others making a daring statement about the chances of UPA returning to power. Given below is a copy/paste of my predictions:-

-----Congress will be the single largest party and together with allies will just run short of the magic number 272.

Congress- 168-185
UPA allies- 80-88
Total UPA – 248-272

BJP – 110-120
NDA allies – 48-58
Total NDA – 158-175

3rd Front – 101-112

Others 9-11-----

You can compare with the actual results.

A saint asked his disciples, `Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?`

Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, `Because we lose our calm, we shout for that.`

`But, why to shout when the other person is just next to you?` asked the saint. `Isn`t it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you`re angry?`

Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint.

Finally he explained, `When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other through that great distance.`

Then the saint asked, `What happens when two people fall in love? They don`t shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small...`

The saint continued, `When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that`s all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.`

MORAL: When you argue do not let your hearts get distant, do not say words that distance each other

Dear Moderator
Thanks for your new set of guide lines to esthablish the decorum of the board.
I wish to know what the steps the MMB is going to initiate so as to curb the following
1. Insider trading and manipulation of stock prices by the management
2. Non disclosure of key events that will affect the interest of the investors
3. Giving out false and fictitious news which directly affects the value of the stock.
4. Non disclosure of where abouts of the reserves held by the company-
Hope you can do some yeomen service in protecting the boarder community.
Also the term confidential and classified is very vague. for example if one of the promotor is planning to run away with cash and if one of the boarder wish to reveal in the board- though it amounts to insider information but the information will be a whistle blower for the trading community to protect their interest.

Please correct me if i am wrong any where. After all pencils have erasers to correct our mistakes

A nice one to laugh and feel proud too!

WHY INDIANS GET ATTACKED ABROAD???

It was the first day of a school in USA and a new Indian student named Chandrasekhar Subramanian entered the fourth grade.

The teacher said, `Let`s begin by reviewing some American History. Who said `Give me Liberty, or give me Death`?`

She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Chandrasekhar, who had his hand up: `Patrick Henry, 1775` he said.

`Very good! Who said `Government of the People, by the People, for the People, shall not perish from the Earth?`

Again, no response except from Chandrasekhar. `Abraham Lincoln, 1863` said Chandrasekhar.

The teacher snapped at the class, `Class, you should be ashamed. Chandrasekhar, who is new to our country, knows more about its history than you do.`

She heard a loud whisper: `F*ck the Indian s,`

`Who said that?` she demanded. Chandrasekhar put his hand up. `General Custer, 1862.`

At that point, a student in the back said, `I`m gonna puke.`

The teacher glares around and asks `All right! Now, who said that?` Again, Chandrasekhar says, `George Bush to the Japanese Prime Minister, 1991.`

Now furious, another student yells, `Oh yeah? Suck this!`

Chandrasekhar jumps out of his chair waving his hand and shouts to the teacher , `Bill Clinton, to Monica Lewinsky,1997`

Now with almost mob hysteria someone said `You little shit. If you say anything else, I`ll kill you.` Chandrasekhar frantically yells at the top of his voice, ` Michael Jackson (RIP) to the child witnesses testifying against him- 2004.`

The teacher fainted. And as the class gathered around the teacher on the floor, someone said, `Oh shit, we`re screwed!` And Chandrasekhar said quietly, `I think it was the American people, November 4th, 2008

there are currently more than 800 cases of the H1N1 flu strain in India. Governments from all around the world are finding ways to combat this deadly disease. So what can you do to protect yourself? Stay calm and practice these 10 effective prevention tips.

1. Wash your hands frequently

Use the antibacterial soaps to cleanse your hands. Wash them often, at least 15 seconds and rinse with running water.

2. Get enough sleep

Try to get 8 hours of good sleep every night to keep your immune system in top flu-fighting shape.

3. Keep hydrated

Drink 8 to10 glasses of water each day to flush toxins from your system and maintain good moisture and mucous production in your sinuses.

4. Boost your immune system

Keeping your body strong, nourished, and ready to fight infection is important in flu prevention. So stick with whole grains, colorful vegetables, and vitamin-rich fruits.

5. Keep informed

The government is taking necessary steps to prevent the pandemic and periodically release guidelines to keep the pandemic away. Please make sure to keep up to date on the information and act in a calm manner.

6. Avoid alcohol

Apart from being a mood depressant, alcohol is an immune suppressant that can actually decrease your resistance to viral infections like swine flu. So stay away from alcoholic drinks so that your immune system may be strong.

7. Be physically active

Moderate exercise can support the immune system by increasing circulation and oxygenating the body. For example brisk walking for 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week will significantly perk up your immunity.

8. Keep away from sick people

Flu virus spreads when particles dispersed into the air through a cough or sneeze reach someone else’s nose. So if you have to be around someone who is sick, try to stay a few feet away from them and especially, avoid physical contact.

9. Know when to get help

Consult your doctor if you have a cough and fever and follow their instructions, including taking medicine as prescribed.

10. Avoid crowded areas

Try to avoid unnecessary trips outside. Moreover, avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.

Dear Tony,

You mentioned that you have tracked my Nifty Futures (NF) trading calls given in my home page for the last 10 days, and that you will start actual trading from tomorrow. In this connection, I give herebelow my GUIDELINES FOR NF TRADING:

1. Only after tracking my NF trading calls given in my home page for full 10 trading days & satisfying about high rate of success, one should get into actual trading.

2. One should start actual trading with ONLY ONE LOT & not more than one lot, and the funds required for this purpose is approximately 32,000 (orginal investment). This amount should be strictly out of one`s savings, and one should not resort to borrowings to start this trading.

3. The sucess rate of my NF trading calls is 7 out of 10, with chances of 3 out of 10 hitting the stop loss. Hence one should trade with STRICT STOP LOSS mentioned by me.

4. I give the call only if & when there is a possibility of earning 50 points. So my Target 1 will be exactlty 50 points, and Target 2 will be approximately 25-30 points from T1.

5. After taking a position and once the T1 is 15 points away, you should place your order for booking the profit at 50 points from your purchase price. You should never aim at T2 in the beginning, and be satisfied with only 50 points gain. Similarly, this is a day trading call, and hence the position should not be carried over to next day under any circumstances.

6. Any of the days, if your stop loss is hit, next day you can aim at Target 2 to recover your previous day`s loss.

7. Once you trade in NF as above for full one month, you should be reasonably able to earn profits equal to/above your original investment. Only after this is achieved, you can start trading in TWO LOTS.

8. About 15-20 days from the date of starting your two lots trade, you will be able to earn profits equal to your original investment of 32K, which promptly should be transferred to your bank account, and continue to trade in two lots only, WITHOUT ANY FEAR as the funds deployed thereafter in daily trading will be the profits earned by you.

9. Once you start earning daily profits from out of FREE TWO LOTS as mentioned in para 8 above, these profits can be utilised to invest in POTENTIAL MULTIBAGGERS listed in my home page.

IF YOU TRADE IN NIFTY FUTURES WITHOUT ANY GREED, AND WITH STRICT COMPLIANCE OF THE ABOVE GUIDELINES, WITHIN 45 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF YOUR STARTING THE NF TRADING WITH 32K INVESTMENT, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO 1)WITHDRAW YOUR ORIGINAL INVESTMENT, 2)EARN FREE 2 NF LOTS, 3)KEEP EARNING MONTHLY RETURNS TO INVEST IN POTENTIAL MULTIBAGGERS.

Now my calculations & assumptions: Only 20 calls in a month, out of which 6 can fail, giving 14 successful trades, loss incurred in 6 failed trades will be recovered next day with Target 2 aim, total profit = 50 points per lot of 50 NF = 50x50 = 2500 per day multiplied by 14 successful trading days = 2500 x 14 = 35,000 less brokerage 3000 = net profit = 32,000.

A RETURN OF 100% PER MONTH ON THE ORIGINAL INVESTMENT OF 32,000.

Disclaimer: Nifty Futures trading is subject to market risk & my trading calls can fail beyond my claim of 3 out of 10 due to human failure. Follow my trade calls only with risk inherent in such trades.

ALL THE BEST. Rgrds.

kadiyali.

Words of wisdom from Rakesh Jhunjhunwala
One of India`s savviest stock market players - India`s Warren Buffett.

`Enter the market when no one else does`

Jhunjhunwala takes the cue from Warren Buffett when he says: "Most people get interested in stocks when everyone else is. The time to get interested is when no one else is. You can`t buy what is popular and do well."

Don`t follow stock picks by big investors

Remember: the market is always right

You can never be taught about market, you have to learn it

You must balance fear and greed
Jhunjhunwala says he is `well invested` in key growth areas like banking, retailing and infrastructure, all of which are based on India`s domestic performance.

His private equity interests offer more detail -- education (private schools in Mumbai), hospitals and health care, a security company, pharmaceuticals, and dredging.

`Markets are like women -- always volatile`

"Markets are like women -- always commanding, mysterious, unpredictable and volatile," `Big Bull` Rakesh Jhunjhunwala had told a gathering in Mumbai a few months back.

For Jhunjhunwala, trading by the hunches is the best thing to do. "If in doubt, listen to your heart," is what he tells young investors. Given below are some investment gems from him:
 Be optimistic
 Be opportunistic
 Study the market thoroughly
 Maximise profits and minimise losses
Invest in a business not a company
 Have an independent opinion, always
Be happy with your gains but take losses in your stride
 Be prepared for risks

And for beginners in the stock market, this is what he has to say:
Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it
 Do something you love
The means are as important as the end
 Aspire, but never envy
Be paranoid of success -- never take it for granted. Realise success can be temporary and transient
Build a fighting spirit -- take the bad with the good
When you see a horizon, it seems so distant. When you reach that horizon, you will realize how many more horizons are within reach.
